Bushcraft Blacksmith

For all lovers of the primitive, a blacksmith class in forging the metalwork of the outdoor life. In this two-day blacksmithing course you will develop basic blacksmithing skills as you forge tools, blades, and accoutrements to make your time in the woods easier and assist you on your adventures.

Working under expert instruction, you’ll create tools to make and maintain a fire, build a shelter, prepare food, craft leather and maintain your gear. The perfect blacksmith class for bushcrafters, campers, trekkers and anyone who loves the woods and working with their hands.

Learn to make and to use:

  • Fire Steels

  • Tomahawks

  • Campfire Tools

  • Leather Tools

  • Trammels

  • Cookware

  • Shelter Hardware

This is an intermediate course, prior forging experience is useful but not required.

All tools, materials and safety equipment are included. Students should wear sturdy footwear and cotton or wool clothing. No Synthetics!

Class runs 9am-5pm, Saturday-Sunday.

Lunch and hydration provided.
