Forging the Bowie - Pt II - Furniture


Complete a legendary knife by adding an ornate handle to the pattern-welded blade you created in Part I.

Along with practical skills for making big knives, you will learn many advanced decorative techniques including scrimshaw, engraving, etching and wire inlay. Cast your own crossguard and pommel out of molten brass, design and fit a unique handle and learn the tricks of assembling big knives with utmost precision - whether stick, full or stub-tang.

An intermediate course - Students must have completed Pt I

Not suited for beginners.
