Gain the skills and knowledge to forge a superior hand knife for hunting, camping or bushcraft. Working independently with close instruction, you will learn forging, finishing, heat treating, metallurgy, blade design, steel selection and sharpening as you complete your own heirloom blade. An intensive course that will lay the foundation for advanced studies in edged tools – knives, axes and swords.
All tools, materials and safety equipment are included. Students should wear sturdy footwear and cotton or wool clothing. No Synthetics!
No experience required. Class runs 9am-5pm, Saturday-Sunday.
